Our toilet pump kept running so we were lucky enough to get a guy the marina recommend and they replaced some tubing, which they said should hold us for a while until we can do a major overhaul, UG! Remember it's a boat!
We also met with Robert Creech a long time Looper and a Harbor Host in South Carolina. He gave us some great information on Marina's and anchorages for our trip up to Norfolk. Mike and I had a light dinner at Joe's Crab Shack at Legacy Marina.
Saturday we caught up on laundry and walked to downtown Ft. Myers. There are several cute restaurants and shops, we bought a few natural soaps at Naples Soap Store. We also walked to a local hardware store for some boat supplies. While there we saw a guy with a Looper T-shirt on. We struck up a conversation, and he offered to drive us back to the marina. Thank goodness, our feet were killing us! Another cool Looper connection.

That night we invited an old friend, Ken Lowe and his lovely new wife, Inna, to the boat for my first "docktails". Then we went out to dinner to Jalapeno's Mexican restaurant. It was a hole in the wall, but everyone seemed to enjoy. Ken worked for Mike years ago in Kentucky and now lives in Punta Gorda. Barb and Joe knew him as well, so it was fun catching up and celebrating our long friendship.
