HOLLAND to SOUTH HAVEN / Thursday, August 25 to Friday, August 26 (Days 217-218)

Admiral's Log:     11:05 am, Thurs. 8/25/16
Air Temp:   76     Water Temp:   72
                        Winds:   6 mph
                        Speed:   9.0 knots

We took a short cruise and docked at South Haven at 2:00. We rented a car to take to Saugatuck the next day. But it was a 75$ cab ride to go to a different town to get the rental car!

Not an exciting day, we just hung out on the boat and saw a couple of other Looper's; Sea Trek and Livin' the Dream. This marina was pretty rocky rolly, but we really did not have much choice. We had dinner on the boat and walked to town get ice cream after dinner.

Friday, we took the rental car to Saugatuck. I wanted to anchor there so the kids could experience anchoring. But we did not see any anchorages that we could really do. I had heard it was a cute artsy town. It was only 30 minutes away. We walked around a bit then drove to a Brew Pub for lunch that was very good and the guys enjoyed some local beer. I was kind of disappointed I was not able to find a LightHouse picture for my collection. The kids napped while Mike and I took the car back. We had pasta for dinner.
