SCOTTSBORO to CEDAR CREEK Anchor / Tuesday, October 4 (Day 257)

Admiral's Log:     8:45 am, 10/4/16
Air Temp:   66     Water Temp:   70
                        Winds:   5 mph
                        Speed:   10 mph

Mike's sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Kevin joined us for the short trip to Chattanooga. Their daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandkids live outside of Chattanooga, so we thought they would enjoy the boat trip and we wanted to see the kids.

Nickajack Lock and Dam in Tennessee.
After the 46 foot rise.

They got to experience going through a lock and anchoring for a night. We anchored at 2:30 at a nice peaceful cove along with 2 other Loopers, Hydrophilic and Sophie Marie from Canada.

Lisa and Kevin enjoying the ride.
We cooked steaks on the grill for dinner, and Lisa and Kevin learned real quick why it's lights out at 9pm, or Lopper's midnight.  A full day on the water can be pretty tiring.
