PARRY SOUND to HOPEWELL BAY Anchor / Wednesday, July 20 (Day182)

Admirals' Log:     8:55 am, 7/20/16
Air Temp:   65     Water Temp:   71
                          Winds:   5 mph
                          Speed:   7.8 knots

Five of us headed to Hopewell Bay anchorage. Saw some cool houses. We all decided one must belong to the famous hockey player Bobby Orr. We had no clue, but sounded good. The five of us kept a radio on channel 72 so we could communicate with each other.

This is actually considered a Range Marker rather than a Lighthouse, see the black stripe?
Another fun cabin on a rock.

We dropped anchor at 1:00.  Mike and I took a dingy ride to scope out the area. We found an old hotel, Obijway Club; now a private club that sold gas, so we filled up the dingy.

The 5 boats took our dingy's to a small little beach for cocktails. We asked new Loopers, Snow Goose from Maine to join us.

Dingy paradise.
