Admiral's Log:     7:37 am, Wed. 6/15/16
Air Temp:   54     Water Temp:   61

Yay, a sunny day!  Still cool, but we will take the sun! Went through locks 18, 19, 20 and 21 today. Lock number 20 is at the highest elevation, of 420 feet above sea level and the last "up" lock. Lock 21 is our first "down" lock.

One of the lock walls, can do some damage on your boat if you are not careful!
Loving the sun!
Bonnee and I catching some rays and reading.
We tied up to the free wall at Sylvan Beach at 3:30. Sylvan Beach is on the east side of Lake Oneida, which we will cross tomorrow as we make our way to the last lock on the Erie before we head up Lake Oswego.

Sylvan Beach once was a cute resort town. Now it seems a little tired. It still has a small amusement park that opens seasonally. Bonnee and I walked to the beach the amusement park.

We had cocktails with Phase II, Cutty's Ark, and Grayling on the back of our boat, then leftovers for dinner.
